Patient Services Representative

Do you have a passion for people? Love interacting with and guiding patients? Like the hustle and bustle of a busy clinic? Join ROC as a Patient Services Representative! This position will remain posted until filled.

You would be the first and last employee our main clinic patients would interact with. You could make patients feel less nervous or scared to visit our team or make a patient’s day by giving them a warm welcome. Your attention to detail will allow for the correct information to provided to the clinical team and ensure the correct billing is taken care of for the patient. You are essential to facilitating a great patient experience.

ROC is expanding with two more operating suites opening in 2025. Join our team to be part of the growth and excitement!

What would you do as a Patient Services Representative?

The Patient Services Representative is responsible for helping patients daily, with an emphasis on quality patient care. You can expect to regularly:

  • Check-in/Check-out patients and schedule follow up appointments.
  • Accurately enter patient demographic information.
  • Scan photo ID’s and insurance card as well as verify insurances.
  • Collect applicable co-pays and ensure billing information is updated.
  • Balance money drawers at end of day.
  • Maintain calm and efficient patient flow through the clinics.

Certifications/Educations:

  • High School Diploma

Knowledge of:

  • Customer service principles and practices

Experience:

  • Using computer systems and applications, including entering data and typing

Preferred Qualifications - How can you set yourself apart from other applicants?

  • One year of experience performing reception duties.

Work Environment

This position is for our main clinic in Downtown Reno.
