Job ID: 35818146 Title: UI/UX Designer (Web) III Duration: 6 Months Location: Irvine, CA 92612 Description: • The client is on the hunt for a design aficionado with a deep understanding of User Experience (UX), a knack for creating striking key art for the modern web, and a passion for cutting-edge design trends. • If you’re a team player who's ready to shape and enhance the user experience and visual identity of Client's vast online ecosystem, we want to hear from you.• As part of the UX design team, you’ll engage in creative brainstorming within a highly collaborative setting, simplifying intricate requirements into elegant design solutions, producing key art, and iterating from wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes.• Your portfolio should showcase your exceptional web design skills, proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator, as well as your adeptness with Figma and the latest UX tools.Required Skills:• User Experience, Web Design, Visual Design, Ecommerce and Figma.Responsibilities:• Your role will require not only strong understanding of transactional web design but deep understanding of typography, layout, color, and composition skills. Familiarity with animation, motion graphics, and basic video editing skills will be beneficial.• Make thoughtful and innovative design decisions together with fellow designers, researchers, engineers, producers, copywriters, and other functions.• Utilize, expand, document and creating new patterns within our vast design system while keeping in mind the big picture.• Realistically communicate page flows, animations, and other interactive elements of your design to stakeholders and engineering.• Collaborate with UX researchers to test designs with real users.• Seamlessly infuse Client’s brand identity, visuals, and tone of voice into all digital communications including email campaigns, seasonal, evergreen, and core digital content.• Adhere to our platform-specific guidelines while exercising discretion to deviate when appropriate.• Produce design documentation and work with engineering team to implement it assuring the final product matches your specifications.• Present creative vision, concepts, and completed designs to leadership, stakeholders, and peers.Skills• A creative background at the intersection of visual design, UI design, and UX engineering to craft user experiences that are both visually stunning and high usable.• 'Familiarity' (they will not write code) with front-end languages and frameworks (i.e. HTML, CSS).• Great communication skills to articulate your design decisions.• Experience with web-based interaction design to craft sleek micro-interactions.• Proficiency in designing for responsive web environments, ensuring that user interfaces adapt and perform across various screen sizes and devices, ultimately providing an optimal user experience.• Experience working on projects using JIRA, and an advocate for leveraging its capabilities for efficient project management and collaboration.• Experience designing mock-ups, interactive prototypes, and components using Figma.• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud platform (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)• Ability to work autonomously when needed and manage multiple projects within tight deadlines.• Familiarly with Google Material design patterns.• Ability to retouch and edit photo assets.• Familiarity with WCAG 2.1 accessibility guidelines.• Experience designing websites using atomic design methodologies.• Experience with video and motion graphics software (After Effects, Premiere, Media Encoder) a plus.• Experience utilizing AI to streamline design processes, enhancing efficiency and innovation also a plus.• And a true passion for transactional web design, from ideation to implementationEducation:• Bachelor’s degree in design• 5-7 years of experience in UI/UX Design.• Previous experience preferably in a corporate environment or design firm, with e-commerce expertise.
