We’re on the hunt for a brilliant finance whizz, someone with relevant investment platform/wealth management experience to take the reins of Seccl’s finance team for a year. You’ll be the financial brain of the business – keeping our numbers squeaky clean, our strategy smart, and our decisions grounded in rock-solid insight. From audit to analysis, forecasting to financial controls, you’ll support and guide the small team that keeps our financial engine running smoothly – and help steer us through some exciting times ahead.
You’ll be in the thick of it – running our finance function day-to-day, while also shaping long-term thinking.
Expect to:
lead all things finance: FP&A, budgeting, audit, reporting, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and more.
own our statutory audit and ensure we’re always on point with compliance and regulatory requirements.
be a key player in commercial decisions, using data and insight to influence our strategy. keep us sharp on capital management, regulatory returns (like ICARA), and corporate governance.
help drive efficiency through smart tools and automation.
support exciting projects with robust financial analysis and forecasting.

proven experience in senior finance roles across the financial services world.
deep understanding of the investment platform/wealth management space.
strong grasp of FCA regulation (including MIFPRU, capital/liquidity requirements and CASS).
proven experience with UK GAAP, VAT, and Corporation Tax.
skilled at working in or with Group structures, with top-tier analytical and stakeholder management skills.
