Retail Food Service Manager - job 2 of 2

Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Retail Food Service Manager at St Louis University Hospital in St Louis, MO. This food service  manager will help manage all food retail locations throughout the hospital and will assist with catering. This manager will be a dynamic team player with a strong background in managing frontline staff and developing teams in any food services environment.

What You'll Do

  • assist with managing all retail operations including catering for the hospital
  • motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline staff and supervisors 
  • interact with customers, hospital staff, and visitors to ensure customer satisfaction 
  • help oversee cash handing processes and POS programming and maintenance
  • maintain all product merchandising, marketing and ordering standards are in place
  • coordinate department safety and sanitation

  • management or supervisory experience in the food service industry (restaurants, catering, hospitality, hotels, etc.)
  • previous experience working in a high volume facility
  • ability to learn quickly and adapt 
  • technical skills and can learn new software quickly
