Job Title: Global Innovation Marketing Manager – Food Packaging

The Global Marketing Innovation Manager is reporting to the Global Marketing Innovation Director. This role will be responsible for driving strategic growth through innovation in key market segments like food and barrier packaging, focused on products that enhance sustainability for global customers (brand owners…).

Detailed Description:

The Global Innovation Marketing Manager - role is critical to our company's success. The primary responsibilities of this position include leading market innovation and project execution efforts for key products, utilizing market research and knowledge, and developing and executing programs to incorporate insights into corporate innovation and commercial processes. Additionally, this position will be responsible for coordinating with other functions such as strategy, commercial and R&D teams to develop seamless on-target innovation on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Blueprint (Voice of Customer) key market segments to fuel innovation pipeline
  • Transfer and develop innovation need insights for assigned product and/or market areas.
  • Work collaboratively with appropriate internal stakeholders to develop comprehensive innovation plan for assigned area.
  • Develop detailed roadmap with timeline for innovation projects and hold teams accountable to objectives and timelines.
  • Interact with appropriate internal teams to drive commercial adoption of new innovations. This may include Business Cases, Value Propositions and Launch Packages.
  • Measure and drive growth of completed innovation projects (Vitality Index).

Skills and Experience:

  • A minimum of 7 years in Business-to-Business Marketing and/or innovation with demonstrable experience in turning market-based insights into successful innovation-based growth.
  • Bachelor's degree required in marketing, packaging science or related field with Master's degree a plus.
  • Work experience in consumer packaged goods or food packaging industry required
  • Demonstrable experience in project management approaches and tools.
  • Demonstrable high proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
