At Comun, we’re on a mission to empower Latino families in the U.S. by reimagining banking to fit their unique needs. Traditional banking hasn’t served them well—so we’re changing that.
We’re a fast-growing fintech startup (20 people, $4.5M funded) founded in 2021, with a team from top companies like Brex, Nubank, Cruise, and Verkada. Over half of us are immigrants, so we deeply understand the challenges we’re solving.

✅ Collaborate across teams (product, design, frontend) to launch features that drive our mission forward.
✅ Improve our dev process—establish best practices, tools, and observability to keep our systems reliable.
✔ 4–8 years in backend (or full-stack) engineering, recently at a Senior or Staff level.
✔ Experience with Python, Postgres, DevOps (AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes), and event-driven systems (Kafka) is a plus.
✔ You enjoy problem-solving, mentoring peers, and working in a fast-paced startup.
