Become part of our AV (Audiovisual) tribe! We are the VIDEO & STREAMING competence centre within Sportradar, consisting of in-house built backend and frontend services as well as strong 3rd-party integrations for digital video distribution to betting & media clients. At Sportradar we've experienced a period of sustained hyper-growth due to a highly focused strategy. One of the cornerstones of this success is our streaming services for 150+ betting and media companies across the globe delivering an unmatched amount of LIVE sports events.

Being part of the Sportradar Audiovisual (AV) unit, your contribution will ensure the continuation of this trajectory.We are a leading products and services provider delivering best-of-breed products and components as well as comprehensive end-to-end solutions. We serve both end-to-end clients and those who wants to internalise part of their platform through products and components.

THE CHALLENGE:

  • UI Design for Sports & Betting: Create high-quality, intuitive, and visually captivating experiences optimized for web, mobile, and app. Dynamic and creative user interfaces for sport platforms but also for bet-related products including odds, statistics, and data-rich content are needed.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to create user-centered designs that meet business goals.
  • Prototypes with Figma: Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs using tools like Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • UX Design: Conduct user research, and usability testing, and apply UX principles to continuously improve the design process.
  • Stay updated on the latest design trends and technologies, particularly within the sports and betting industry.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing design work, including examples of UI design, wireframes, prototypes, and user research.
  • Excellent visual design skills with an understanding of colour theory, typography, and layout.
  • Expertise in design tools such as Figma and Adobe Cloud.
  • You are a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer with strong visual design skills.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
  • For you, teamwork and communication skills are not just empty phrases.
  • You have a good command of written and spoken English.
  • You are willing to create a variety of different ideas to not miss out on potentially unique ones.
  • Continuous personal development is a matter of course for you.
  • Organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • Highly motivated, with a passion for creating designs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience on working with design systems.
  • Experience with animation for UI elements.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML & CSS to communicate with development teams more effectively.
  • Interest in sports, preferably with an understanding of sports betting and live data usage.

OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS:

  • Initial Screening: A brief alignment via email with our Talent Acquisition Partner to understand your background and expectations.
  • A technical Interview: Meet with the Technical team and Hiring Manager to dive into your solution and your expertise, as also discuss team fit.
  • Technical Assessment and Culture Day: Meet the team and spend a day in our office. A short task to showcase your technical skills.
  • Final Steps: Receive feedback and, if successful, an offer!

We keep it simple and aim to wrap up the process within 3 weeks. 

The minimum monthly salary for this position is according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Overpayment will be considered depending on qualifications and working experience.
