Locations: Cincinnati, OH or Dallas, TX and is not remote.

As a Business Development Director,  you’ll be   responsible for CRS growth and market expansion. This position will lead initiatives to identify new business opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and create sales strategies to increase revenue. This includes tracking new markets and emerging trends, recommending new products and services, proposing and developing new strategic partnerships, writing proposals and plans, and guiding long-term objectives to meet business needs and requirements. This position will also play a role in identifying, assessing, and pursuing M&A targets within the CRS and corporate strategy and processes.

The successful candidate will possess a high degree of commercial and financial acumen, an entrepreneurial spirit, change management experience, a collaborative and compelling leadership style, a strong bias for action and a solid background with demonstrated results in operational excellence. This position will be based out of either our Cincinnati, OH or Dallas, TX locations and is not remote. 

What you’ll do:

  • Position reports to the Sr. Director of Business Operations. 
  • Responsible for new business development and revenue from new clients.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, partners, and prospects to generate demand and revenue opportunities. 
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members to convey ideas, negotiate deals, and build relationships. 
  • Analyze the current market and business trends and present findings to senior leadership.
  • Use industry expertise and market knowledge to identify target companies that are well positioned for growth and fit CRS strategy.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategy to ensure that risks are properly assessed and prepared for.
  • Lead business development team and cross-functional stakeholders, build consensus, and drive results.
  • The ability to develop and implement growth opportunities within (and between) organizations in a sustainable and profitable way.
  • Creating new and better ways for the organization to be successful. Adapting to change and engaging in continuous learning and critical thinking to promote the growth of the individual and the organization.
  • Create strong morale within the team by fostering open dialogue, sharing wins and successes, delegating responsibility and allowing team members opportunities for growth.
  • Meet the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers, acting with customers in mind at all times.
  • Successfully meet or exceed goals and focus on business results. Push self and others to achieve results.
  • Set clear objectives and measures, monitor process, progress and results, clearly assign responsibility for tasks and decisions.
  • Use rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions; provide honest analysis.
  • Present truth in an appropriate and helpful manner, lead as a direct, truthful individual.
  • Some travel may be required. 

 What skills you will use:

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law or related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in Operations, Business Development, Strategy or Supply Chain roles.
  • Demonstrated business acumen, the ability to generate business cases and to execute financial plans.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Experience dealing with OEMs/Suppliers and relationship building.
  • Strong demonstrated contract negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and an eye for detail.
  • Must have experience in Aviation or related industry, preferably with knowledge of Engine MRO products, processes, and customer requirements
