About Stranger Soccer   

Stranger Soccer (www.strangersoccer.com) is a Singapore-based company experiencing explosive growth. In a few short years, after launching a revolutionary platform and Mobile App for on-demand football, the company has amassed over 50,000 registered users playing hundreds of games a week. It has solved the problem that football is the world's #1 sport, but is difficult for an individual to play. Stranger Soccer makes it as easy as going to the gym or for a jog. Browse. Book a slot. Show up and play. Today, it is the #1 way people play football and futsal in Singapore, and is rapidly expanding internationally via a license partner model, with locations in Australia, India, USA, UAE, and South Africa.  

 Role  

 The selected candidate(s) will work closely with the CEO, Executive Director, and a small global team to own and manage social media and key marketing functions of the company. We are looking for a social media and marketing dynamo! 

Responsibilities 

  •  Social Media Management and Content 
  •  Overall management of IG, FB, TikTok, and LinkedIn accounts, e.g. optimize and maintain appearance, respond to chats 
  • Plan and create 3 “B2C” posts per week and 1 “B2B” post per week 
  • Maintain daily “stories”, leveraging local and licensee content 
  • Grow followers/manage following 

In-app communications  

  • Manage all communication channels in Singapore app - notifications, popups, banner, promotion carousel, deals inbox, news inbox, featured games – ensuring content is fresh and current
  • Browse and test marketing-related features in app regularly to ensure working accurately 

Other Monthly Marketing Initiatives  

  • Plan, create, and distribute EDM newsletter for Singapore platform customers 
  • Plan, create, and project manage monthly promotion

Licensee Marketing  

  • Monitor Social Media and Mobile app to ensure other cities are following best practice and branding guidelines; pro-actively communicate any areas for improvement/optimization 
  • Share and/or post selected social media content 
  • 3-5+ years of experience (or equivalent know-how) specifically in social media (and marketing). Looking for a social media WHIZ! 
  • Excellent English communication skills  
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Passion for customer service  
  • Friendly positive attitude and team player  
  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma  

  • Interest in football is a BIG PLUS  
  • Experience working overseas or with international companies a PLUS 
  • Hospitality experience a PLUS 
  • Franchise Development or Support experience a PLUS 

Other Details    

  • 10-15 hours a week, with the possibility of growing into a full-time role over time 
  • Flexible working hours (e.g. 2 hours a day) to be defined and agreed    
  • Position will be virtual (e.g., based in Philippines) with occasional travel to Singapore.
