Senior Quality Coach

Talent Worx is a growing recruitment consulting & services firm, we are hiring for our client which create thriving residential communities. With over 30 years' experience, 1400 customers worldwide and over 3 million beds under management, we are the leading provider of housing accommodation automation software solutions on the market.

Responsibilities

  • Drives the adoption of repeatable quality practices across the entire SDLC, ensuring that improvements are embedded across all teams for long-term impact. 
  • Implements processes to ensure quality is considered up front, collaborating with Product, Design and Engineering from ideation through to delivery.
  • Leads efforts to assess and test for non-functional requirements including performance, security and accessibility into common practices.
  • Pairs with developers throughout the development process to apply a risk-based approach for testing. 
  • Uses data to assess quality maturity for their cross-functional teams, working with them to implement processes to address gaps. Can then measure and show impact of changes. 
  • Influences cross functional team members at the senior level to understand and adopt shift-left quality practices.
  • Drives new innovative approaches to solve human and technical quality challenges at the company level and accountable for the success of these initiatives.
  • Contributes to the growth and success of the QA team by championing quality initiatives. Creating alignment on definitions, approaches, and outcomes across all client regions. 
  • Uses data to identify and communicate opportunities and track impact on progress.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in QA role
  • Experience growing & leading other QA
  • Have a deep understanding and empathy for the end-users
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
  • Experience working in Agile/lean methodologies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Meeting facilitation and organization
  • Experience with Stakeholder management
  • Experience with Change management
  • Candidate has lead others (QA or engineers)
  • Has collaborated closely with cross function team members: Product manager/Product owner, Designer, Tech lead, Engineering manager. 3 years +.  example of the situation and team makeup
  • Has experience aligning others to a shared goal: 1 example please
  • Has presented ideas to a large audience and comfortable sharing an unpopular opinion.
  • Has experience identifying process issues and worked towards improving them.
  • Understands the testing pyramid and shift-left concept
  • Uses data to share company’s point or provide guidance to the team or new joinees.
