Telenor is undergoing a massive transformation where digitalization and technology development are the key. To achieve this in the best possible way, it is crucial that we have the best people on the team. We are looking for someone who is motivated by networks, automation, and new technologies.
Our task is to work with Telenor's large corporate customers to ensure they have a simpler, better, and safer digital everyday life.
As a developer at Telenor, you will work with some of the most exciting technologies and help develop new services for the Nordic market.
You will join a department with a strong competence environment, where continuous skill development for employees is facilitated. We have big ambitions and challenge existing ways of working—both organizationally, methodologically, and technically. Does this sound exciting? That's great!
• You are curious, motivated, and self-driven – we trust you and give you the freedom to take charge.
• You can program or have a strong interest in programming and development.
• If you know basic economic principles, this is a great advantage.
• You want to take professional responsibility.
• You wish to learn more and share knowledge.
• You are proficient in both Norwegian and English, written and spoken.
• You have relevant education at least at the bachelor’s level (desired).
We work across several areas with many different technologies and platforms. We hope something here sounds exciting to you:
• Automation
• ServiceNow
• Kubernetes Container Technology
• JavaScript and Python
• Machine Learning and AI
• Agile and DevOps frameworks
• Integrations and APIs
• Ansible Automation
• 5G technology
• Cloud services, Networks, and Data Centres
Working at Telenor is not just about developing and creating important solutions for customers. As part of Telenor, we want you as a professional specialist to grow, learn, and have a flexible and secure work-life where you feel valued and taken care of.
• A work environment where trust and culture are at the core. You will be listened to and supported by a team of experts with high professional pride in various fields. At Telenor, people are our most asset, and we continuously work to create an environment where you will thrive.
• A flexible workday with full flexibility to work from wherever you choose. A well-equipped digital setup makes it possible to work from home or a cabin whenever you wish—but we also have fantastic offices and enjoy meeting at work!
• The opportunity to learn a lot and create a career path in the direction you want. Telenor means development for those with ambitions to grow and learn by taking responsibility and initiative.
• And everything else that’s part of the essentials: competitive salary, excellent pension schemes, insurance and parental leave, Christmas and Easter holidays in addition to regular vacation, company cabins all over Norway, sports teams for everything from cricket, paddling, golf, and yoga, on-site gym – and not to mention a comfortable workday in modern offices with social areas, a library with a sea view, great cafeterias, coffee bars, and a private dock for morning swims if you like that.
This position is part of the Telenor Nordics/Nordic Managed Services unit, which is responsible for operating and managing networks for Telenor's corporate customers across all Nordic countries. You will be part of a highly knowledgeable department consisting of technicians, developers, architects, and process managers.
When Nordic Managed Services was established, it was to build a department with an "end-to-end" operational responsibility, which allows for operation in autonomous teams with freedom, responsibility, and trust. The team, Business Process Operation, is responsible for the service catalogue and financial architecture. This is where the magic happens as we work with automation, AI, development, and improvements across all layers, right through to the customer interface. Working together in autonomous teams is therefore synonymous with driving the department and influencing the whole. We've come a long way, but we want to keep improving.
Engaged and ambitious developers form the backbone of our team. You must be daring and enjoy solving challenges. We want to connect with people who want to contribute to a whole, with the ability to influence and perform.
• Application Deadline: 15.04.2025
• Location: Telenor Norway, Telenor Sweden, Telenor Finland (DNA)
• For questions about the position: contact recruiting manager Marte Folgerø– marte.folgero@telenor.no / +47 92627106
