The Arc of Ocean County is looking for Licensed Practical Nurses to work inside residential (Group Homes) settings to support Individuals with disabilities in Ocean County. Currently Hiring Full and Part Time Positions for Brick. The candidate will be a Licensed Medical Professional for the agency and may be assigned to work in more than one program or location, inclusive on on-site visits to area hospitals and nursing facilities when resident are receiving in-patient care.

Location: Brick, Ocean County

Pay: From $32 per hour, Bi-Weekly Pay Schedule, eligible for Shift Differential

Description

Under the direction of the agency RN, the LPN will monitor and provide for the clinical care of our residents, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. They will collect case histories, record services provided, and prepare medication records. LPN's will have a shared responsibility with the managerial staff in assisting with supervision of the medical concerns for each resident. They will ensure the overall health and safety of the residents and environment in which they reside.

Previous experience working with Individuals with Disabilities is preferred, not required.

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have a Valid NJ Driver’s License with no more than five points
  • One year of Medical or Surgical Experience

Education: Graduate of accredited school of Nursing. Must provide and maintain proof of current LPN Licensure from NJ Board of Nursing
