As a Literacy Support Specialist, you'll be teaching scheduled reading classes, planning engaging course content, and creating dynamic literacy-focused activities to inspire kids to enjoy reading. With operations running from June 9 to August 1, you will be part of a dedicated team that partners with young minds across various community centers throughout Fort Worth. Your responsibilities will include monitoring student progress, implementing teaching aids, and collaborating with fellow staff to continuously enhance our literacy programs. A Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field and at least six months of relevant teaching experience are required, along with a Texas Driver’s License and specialization certification.
