About The Role:

Tonic is seeking a Junior Product Designer to join our Design Team. We’re looking for someone who can work collaboratively and communicate effectively to design features and improvements. In this role, you will be a contributor to the team and have the opportunity to grow as a designer.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work in partnership with the Head of Design and internal partners to develop and execute on Tonic’s product roadmap

  • Implement a user-focused approach to product development

  • Create wireframes, storyboards, feature mockups, visual prototypes.

  • Improve our designer experience by providing input and feedback on the design process including design systems, research methods, and tools.

  • Design clear and complete solutions to business challenges.

  • Iterate efficiently on designs based on team feedback, user research, and data.

  • Work closely with development teams to ensure that design specifications are implemented.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Prior experience designing features/products

  • A portfolio of product design work with at least one case study

  • Proficient knowledge working in Figma

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in 1-on-1 or group scenarios 

  • An basic understanding of key UI/UX principles, processes, methodologies

  • Attention to detail and craft in designs

  • Interest in development for enterprise applications
