Job Description

Our Graduate Program

Our goal is to build you up for success. Our 2-year Graduate Program is designed to provide you with comprehensive training and development opportunities. 

You will have the chance to work in a core business unit and explore different areas of our organisation through rotations. 

Additionally, you will have the unique opportunity to gain experience in another division, enabling you to broaden your understanding of our operations and develop versatile skills. 

At the end of the program, you will be seamlessly transitioned into a permanent role at AusNet, aligned with your skills, capability, and chosen career pathway.

About the role

As a Finance Graduate you will play a vital role in our finance team, contributing to various financial projects and gaining valuable experience in a supportive and dynamic work environment. 

This position is designed to provide recent finance graduates with a solid foundation for a successful career in finance while encouraging professional growth and development.

What you will deliver

  • Prepare information briefings, instructions and guides for a range of continuous improvement projects for our HR systems and practices. This includes guiding managers through current processes and systems 
  • Manage staff relationships by promptly responding to queries and manage expectations whilst maintaining quality customer service 
  • Analyse various HR data for trends, and new conclusions based on findings
  • Develop and support the development of market research and entry strategies, with a view on informing the business unit on relevant trends such as emerging competition, substitute products and services, and customer needs; 
  • Develop and support the development of business models for innovative energy services for commercial and residential customers; 
  • Assist in the preparation of external reports, including Annual and Corporate Governance Statements 
  • Provide support to the risk and compliance team with risk reviews including engaging and supporting business stakeholders in the identification and control of risks
