Program Manager

Trilogy Federal is looking for a Program Manager to support an upcoming project with one of our large federal agency clients. The ideal candidate will have experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA, VBA, or VHA) or a large-scale federal agency, in a fast-paced environment, and be motivated, driven, and client focused to join our highly collaborative and customer-oriented team. The chosen candidate must have an active PMP certification and relevant industry experience.

Our selected candidate will successfully manage an integrated team, customer challenges, and deliver quality service and end products. 


Please note this position is contingent upon award, and may require occasional customer site visits in D.C. 


Primary Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary point of contact with client stakeholders. 
  • Develop, maintain, and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets. 
  • Oversee all aspects of the project lifecycle, including initiation, execution, monitoring, and closure. 
  • Ensure timely delivery of milestones and compliance with contract requirements. 
  • Lead Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.) and ensure continuous improvement. 
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, technical architects, programmers/developers, subject matter experts, analysts, and training specialists. 
  • Monitor risks, develop mitigation strategies, and manage change requests. 
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level project status updates. 
  • Provide project/program management support, with a focus on change management support (including oversight of all aspects of program development, strategy, planning, testing, training, implementation, and post go-live maintenance). 
  • Ability to manage multiple large and complex projects/task and report at the portfolio level. 
  • Facilitate, as needed, meetings between client staff, delivery managers, and solution architects to translate business needs into requirements included in PWS and other project scoping documents.  
  • Attend and provide input during weekly, monthly, and quarterly management review meetings, with a focus on key details and status updates from managed tasks/projects.  
  • Support the documentation and maturation of management processes to include regular meetings with business Leaders and development teams and submitting recommendations such as lessons learned and process improvements.  
  • Support Trilogy corporate initiatives for staff development and company growth through business development efforts.  
  • Perform all duties associated with program management related to client and Trilogy deliverables, manage teaming partner contributions and relationships, and mentor and coach junior staff for career growth and development.   


Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • PMP certification.
  • PROSCI certification.
  • 15+ years of program management experience in IT systems, preferred experience with federal financial systems.
  • Prior experience supporting the eDiscovery suite of products.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and risk management skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation and communication skills, including written, verbal and interpersonal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to variety of audiences.
  • Ability to interface well with end-users and client stakeholders across the organization.
  • Flexibility and the ability to react to rapidly changing requirements.
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred.

$165,000 - $190,000 a year
This range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as Trilogy Federal conducts an individual equity review for every candidate based on experience, location, education, industry experience, and comparisons to internal pay bands. In addition to salary, Trilogy offers robust benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance coverage, 401(k) match, paid holidays, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and a very supportive work/life balance.
