Summary of Position: The Lead Senior Software Engineer will help drive the implementation of the Company’s strategic vision. This includes iterating with Product and project stakeholders on requirements, breaking down goals into tasks, and working with Developers to ensure successful execution. Additionally, it is the responsibility of the Lead Senior Software Engineer to ensure designs are properly architected. They will own parts of the system, coordinate complex implementations, and implement abstractions as appropriate. This role involves approximately 75% coding and 25% management of external and internal developers.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Understand the Company’s strategic vision, our products and services, and why customers rely on us.
  • Iterate with Product and project stakeholders on requirements.
  • Work with Developers to break down goals into tasks.
  • Ensure new development is properly architected.
  • Take ownership of parts of the system.
  • Coordinate complex implementations.
  • Identify and apply abstractions as appropriate.
  • Develop front-end systems (React, TypeScript, JavaScript).
  • Develop back-end systems (C# .NET, MVC, SQL Server).
  • Maintain and enhance current front-ends and back-ends.
  • Help us be the best at what we do.

Education, Background, Experience & Qualifications:

  • Experience in the items listed under Major Responsibilities.
  • 5+ years of full-stack C# .NET development.
  • 5+ years of front-end experience.
  • 5+ years of SQL Server experience.
  • A Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering, or an equivalent degree preferred.

Salary: $130,000 - $140,000 per year, based on a 40-hour work week.

The Company also provides eligible employees with a variety of benefit programs, generally including health, dental, and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, 401k plan with company match, life and disability insurance programs, and a number of programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work

Please note that the above-referenced position can be performed anywhere in the United States except in the following states: Arkansas, Idaho, Mississippi, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota and Wyoming.
