Specialist Governance Systems

Job Details:

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for handling legal operations activities, including managing the contract system, making small enhancements to systems, and reporting on various aspects within the department. Responsibilities also include reviewing and upgrading systems, providing internal customer support and training, improving processes, ensuring data accuracy, conducting audits, managing basic projects, troubleshooting issues, and creating basic reports. Additionally, this role will work with others in the company to help reduce risk and increase profitability. The position will collaborate with in-house counsel and other internal stakeholders to ensure systems and workflows run smoothly.
Other duties include: participating in the development of forms and templates; coordinating with the records retention team on the development of retention systems and policies; managing the flow of all documents through the management systems, which include maintaining the accuracy and real-time status of all records within the system; processing documents and execution; confirming paperwork is submitted accurately by requestors in accordance with policy and ensuring approvals are documented and stored in the management systems; working cross-functionally with the information systems team on upgrades and maintenance of management systems; working with the internal audit team to confirm clients are adhering to policies and proper use of management systems; implementing and monitoring tools, policies, procedures, and systems to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of management systems; and other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred or 4 years of experience in lieu of education
Experience: 3 plus years of experience in systems and customer support, preferably in a large corporate setting. 1 plus years of experience in project management and systems implementation preferred.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; including ability to train.
Computer Skills: Computer literate with strong systems skills.
Special Skills: Highly detailed with the ability to multi-task; ability to work with in-house counsel internal business units and external customers vendors.
