Located in picturesque Tehama County St. Elizabeth offers 76 licensed beds a trauma level III emergency department comprehensive surgical services and a progressive Family Birth Center. Responsibilities

Position Summary:

 

Incumbent works under the direct supervision of the Staff Nurse and/or licensed medical practitioner in caring for the clinical patient and providing the best possible individualized nursing care in a timely manner with emphasis on cost containment. The position reports to the Director Rural Health Clinics.

 

Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire.  This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.

 

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • One year experience in a outpatient medical office or physician clinic setting (if operationally able willing to train in lieu of experience) required
  • Medical terminology ability to clearly communicate and understand English required
  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace suite required
  • BLS Certification through an American Heart Association provider

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two years experience in a clinical setting 
  • Associates degree in a related field 
  • Working knowledge of state supported programs specific to rural health clinics and Medical Assistant certification 
  • Spanish speaking skills
