As the longest established hospital in the southeast valley, Chandler Regional has provided care for the Chandler community since 1961. The hospital recently added a new five-story tower with 96 patient beds, increasing the acute-care bed count to 338. This expansion increased emergency and trauma services, as well as the surgical unit and intensive care offerings.

Responsibilities

As our Endoscopy nurse at Chandler Regional Medical Center you will assist physicians with procedural technical skills and interventions and any other assigned functions within the procedure as an extension of the physician and within scope of practice. Assist as needed with management of scopes and high level disinfection processes

 

To be successful in this role you must have the ability to maintain focus while multitasking, remain calm under pressure, and exercise good judgment in emergency situations. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Care for patients before, during, and after procedures
  • Develop and implement nursing care plan for patients
  • Ensure operating rooms are prepped with all necessary equipment and supplies
  • Demonstrate a high level of compassion for patients

Qualifications

Minimum:  

  • One (1) year of Endoscopy experience preferred
  • Current AZ State RN License in good standing.
  • American Heart Association
    • BLS
    • ACLS

Preferred:  

  • Bachelors of Nursing Degree.
