As a Clinical Nurse  at St. Bernardine Medical Center, you will coordinate total patient care for assigned patients, applying your clinical expertise to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care. With a strong understanding of the principles of growth and development across the lifespan, you will assess patient status, interpret relevant data, and tailor interventions based on each patient's age-specific needs in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications

 

  • One year of Med/Surg or Post-Partum nursing preferred.
  • Current California Registered Nurse License
  • AHA-Basic Life Support for Health Care Provider
  • Neonatal Resuscitation- within first six months of employment into the position
  • Basic Fetal Monitoring- within first six months of employment
  • Certified Lactation Educator or minimum of 18 hours in Baby Friendly
  • USA approved breastfeeding course within six months of employment in the job
