SEO Director

UWorld is looking for a visionary SEO Director to lead our search engine optimization efforts and drive organic growth across our digital platforms. In this role, you will develop and execute cutting-edge SEO strategies, improve our online presence, and play a pivotal role in enhancing our brand visibility. Key Objectives:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies that align with business goals and drive measurable results.
  • Monitor website performance using analytics tools, delivering actionable insights to optimize organic traffic and search rankings.
  • Collaborate with content creators, designers, and product teams to craft keyword-rich, high-quality content that resonates with target audiences.
  • Manage link-building efforts to secure quality backlinks from reputable sources and enhance domain authority.
  • Partner with marketing teams to align SEO initiatives with broader digital marketing campaigns.
  • Stay ahead of the curve with emerging SEO trends, technologies, and algorithm updates to maintain competitive advantage.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify target phrases and optimize content strategies.
  • Enhance on-page SEO through the optimization of meta tags, headers, URLs, and website structure.
  • Identify and address technical SEO issues, collaborating with web developers to improve site performance, crawlability, and user experience.
  • Perform SEO audits, competitive analysis, and benchmarking to identify growth opportunities.
  • Monitor and analyze website traffic, user behavior, and conversions, leveraging data to refine SEO strategies.
  • Foster collaboration across teams to integrate SEO seamlessly into content, product, and marketing strategies.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in SEO management or a similar role.
  • Certifications in SEO (Google, HubSpot, SEMrush, etc.).
  • Proficiency with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Google Keyword Planner.
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices, algorithms, and digital marketing trends, particularly in the Indian search landscape.
  • Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
  • Analytical skills to interpret complex data and drive data-informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with website development basics (HTML/CSS), PPC advertising, and technical SEO practices such as speed optimization.
  • Knowledge of A/B testing, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and SEO experimentation.
  • Understanding of social media marketing and its interplay with SEO.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills to lead multiple initiatives.
