Job Description

The Digital Enablement Platform team is looking for talented Web front-end Sr Software engineers for the Bangalore office to drive the evolution of mobile payment solutions and to build web-SDKs and Web-Applications that transforms payments to mobile phones. You will work closely with UX, product management, and other teams to conceive, design, and create unique payment capabilities. Your code will be rock solid and built to perform on multiple platforms & environments. You will be also work closely with various stakeholders to help establish Backend API development standards.

You will be responsible for design, coding of the Web SDKs and Applications and end-to-end delivery of products / features, reusable libraries, while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Also, raise the bar on sustainable engineering by improving best practices, producing best in class of code, documentation, testing and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop client-side web components (Web SDKs and Web Applications) utilizing best-in-class JavaScript, React.js, Redux, CSS, HTML, and UI frameworks.

• Interact with both business and technical stakeholders to understand the requirements and to deliver high quality products and services that meet business requirements and expectations while applying the latest available tools and technology including leveraging Gen AI tools.

• Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code and build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.

• Implementing responsive design to work across various devices sizes and optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.

• Present technical solutions, capabilities, considerations, and features in business terms.

• Coordinate Continuous Integration activities, testing automation and other related items in addition to contributing core product code

• Collaborating with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.

• Conducting performance tests and managing software updates and patches.

• Maintaining an understanding of the latest web applications and programming practices through education, study, and participation in conferences, workshops, and groups.

• Develop Applications that comply WCAG and VGAR standards and ensure the company’s digital assets are in compliance with those standards.

• Effectively communicate status, issues, and risks in a precise and timely manner

• Identify opportunities for product innovation and strive for improvements to best practices, standards and processes

• Have a passion for delivering zero defect code and be responsible for ensuring the team's deliverables meet or exceed business expectations

Skills:

• Solid working experience and proficiency in React/ Redux or Advanced JavaScript/Typescript including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model

• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles

• Solid development experience in building Web UI applications with experience using popular React.js workflows, such as Flux or Redux.

• Solid knowledge and work experience using Gen AI tools

• Strong experience in developing applications that comply with WCAG 2 guidelines.

• Strong working experience with HTTP, REST, JSON and XML.

• Good knowledge on Spring and Apache frameworks

• Strong analytical, ability to deep dive and solve complex problems with good communication skills.

• Experience in GIT, Maven, Jenkins or such build automation tools

• Experience with Agile methodologies and iterative software development lifecycle principles

• Experience with a Relational database and NoSQL database

• Experience in messaging system and distributed technology.

• Previous experience with financial services/payments processing experience a big plus

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Basic Qualifications
2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications
3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
