Your career is an investment that grows over time!

Wealthsimple is on a mission to help everyone achieve financial freedom by reimagining what it means to manage your money. Using smart technology, we take financial services that are often confusing, opaque and expensive and make them transparent and low-cost for everyone. We’re the largest fintech company in Canada, with over 3 million users who trust us with more than $30 billion in assets.

Our teams ship often and make an impact with groundbreaking ideas. We're looking for talented people who keep it simple and value collaboration and humility as we continue to create inclusive and high-performing teams where people can be inspired to do their best work.

Our ideal hire has a builder mindset, is detail oriented, organized, action oriented, and proactive. They own their role and continuously help identify ways to improve operations processes and controls. It is essential that this person manages time well, keeps on top of deliverables, and has the potential to grow with us. Experience in physical card products, inventory management, vendor management, fulfillment, supporting marketing campaigns, or expertise in physical product operations is a strong plus.

We manage billions of dollars, so the stakes are high. We want to deliver extraordinary experiences that meet our client's on-demand expectations, while being a compliance leader. At Wealthsimple, we are maker-owners, we believe that simple is better, and we do what's right for each client.

In this role, you will:
  • Manage inventory levels of physical products by maintaining accurate records, monitoring stock levels, implementing effective control measures and alerts, and coordinating order and shipment times to ensure timely delivery.
  • Manage all aspects related to physical cards, including reconciling and optimizing card fulfillment, inventory management, physical collateral optimization, functionality testing, and supporting various services associated with physical cards.
  • Develop and execute operational processes behind marketing campaigns involving physical products, including planning and distribution strategies.
  • Conduct regular testing of physical products and delivery to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Work collaboratively with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders (product, engineering, design, and finance) to operationalize various products and features.
  • Help manage and optimize relationships with third party vendors, specifically manufacturers.
  • Build project plans and timelines to manage operational processes, and identify and implement opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase overall impact.
  • Act as a catalyst by bringing the right teams/people together within and/or across teams.
  • Problem solve and manage incidents to create leverage for cross-functional stakeholders, and create the best possible experience for our clients.

Skills we’re looking for:
  • Relevant Experience: experience in inventory and physical product management, physical product testing, delivery, marketing campaigns, and collaborating with third-party manufacturers is a plus.
  • Organization & Planning: plans, organizes, and schedules in a productive manner, allowing for a focus on key priorities and regular updates.
  • Collaboration: excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to work in collaboration with various team members.
  • Strong Written & Verbal Communication: speaks plainly and truthfully. Communicates complex ideas in a simple & easy-to-understand way for any audience (e.g. engineering, 3rd party vendors, growth/operational teams, executive team).
  • Problem Solving: if something seems off, you want to figure out what’s going on; you enjoy navigating uncertainty, bringing clarity to ambiguity and don’t wait for a playbook to be written.
  • Proactive & Action Oriented: acts without being told what to do; taking full ownership of work, and proactively seeks help and input when needed to provide well supported solutions.
  • Efficiency: ability to produce significant output with minimum wasted effort; finds the path of least resistance to the problem definition, solution and execution.
  • Honesty & Integrity: doesn't cut corners; does what is right, not what is politically expedient.
