In this role, you'll engage with enormous datasets from satellites and drones, contributing innovative solutions for environmental monitoring and land-use mapping. Your key responsibilities will revolve around collecting and analyzing remote sensing data using UAV, LiDAR, and various satellite sources. You'll apply sophisticated image processing techniques, alongside developing algorithms for classifying land covers and detecting changes through machine learning. Collaborating with a team of GIS experts, data scientists, and software engineers, you'll create actionable insights that support critical decisions in agriculture, urban planning, and forestry. To shine in this position, a solid five years in remote sensing, with hands-on experience in tools like Google Earth Engine, QGIS, and programming in Python or R is essential.
