Join West Coast University as a Senior Data Engineer in beautiful Irvine, where you can contribute to making a real difference in the lives of students as they embark on their journey in healthcare education. In this exciting role, you will work closely with the Associate Director of Regulatory Reporting & Academic Analytics, assisting in compiling and reporting crucial student data such as retention and graduation rates. Your analytical skills will shine as you conduct research to determine the best methods for data collection, and you will be involved in gathering and analyzing data to provide valuable insights for administrative decision-making and strategic planning. The Senior Data Engineer will extract, validate, and prepare data for both internal and external reporting, ensuring all reports are comprehensive and produced timely. You'll take an active role in supporting compliance with accreditation requirements and collaborating with internal stakeholders. With a focus on transparency, you’ll also contribute to enhancing our University’s digital presence by updating websites with essential student statistics. We're looking for someone with a Bachelor’s Degree and at least three years of experience in data integration or analytics, preferably within higher education. Proficiency in Python, SQL, and advanced Excel will set you apart, along with experience in business intelligence software like Power BI or Tableau.
