A Student Patient Care Tech assists with basic nursing care, performs job functions according to specific age and/or developmental needs, and works under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and/or Charge Nurse of the unit.

Under the supervision of our dedicated Registered and Charge Nurses, you will be responsible for helping patients with their daily tasks like dressing and eating, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Measuring and recording vital signs is an essential part of your job, as is listening to and addressing patients' concerns. Working in a fast-paced environment, you’ll also help move and transfer patients safely, supporting their medical needs and personal hygiene. It’s a role that combines vital healthcare functions with the opportunity to showcase your customer service skills, all while supporting our medical center’s mission and philosophy. You’ll need to be self-motivated and ready to collaborate with your coworkers as you assist in creating a positive experience for our patients.
