Job Description

Supervises and organizes activities of the banquet areas and coordinate activities of the Restaurant. Assists Restaurant Manager and Banquet Manager in achieving department objectives by performing the following duties.

As a Catering Coordinator, you will: 

  • Communicate daily procedures, staff schedules, and event tasks.
  • Coordinate with managers on forecasts and operational needs.
  • Oversee food, beverage, and supply quality, inventory, and rotation.
  • Ensure excellent service for owners and guests.
  • Manage staff adherence to schedules, policies, and grooming standards.
  • Prepare revenue forecasts, work schedules, and department reports.
  • Maintain compliance with product receiving, beverage controls, and financial policies.
  • Approve invoices, discounts, and complimentary checks within guidelines.
  • Operate within budget, managing POS functions and missing check reports.
  • Enforce cash controls and event-specific procedures.
  • Support staff during peak times and participate in goal-setting programs.

Qualifications

 

  • Make decisions based on your own judgment and company policy.
  • Follow instructions without close supervision.
  • Occasional carrying and lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Must have 1 year of catering supervisor experience.  
  • Must be at least 18 and have a valid FL State Driver’s License.

  • Required to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States.
