Field Supervisor

We are hiring for multiple roles with a target start date in August 2025. Candidates who apply now will be considered for interviews in the coming weeks.


Responsibilities
  • Understand the concept of behavioral safety and effectively communicate and train within the ZUM Service Center
  • Direct interface with the customer to enhance the safety experience and determine the appropriate course of action
  • Lead, design, develop and implement initial and recurrent training programs for transportation personnel
  • Manage and lead safety department staff by establishing objectives, standards, work schedules, and accountability for job performance
  • Manage the recruitment process of ZUM Service Center personnel
  • Coordinate all training activities
  • Maintain compliance programs
  • Develop and conduct regularly scheduled programs (e.g. driver safety meetings, award programs, etc.) emphasizing ZUM culture
  • Primary point of contact in responding to personnel injury, vehicle accidents, preparation, and submission of reports in accordance with ZUM policy


Requirements
  • School vehicle driver instructor certification to provide classroom instruction requires successful completion of the Department -sponsored 3-day school bus driver instructor workshop
  • If the school vehicle driver instructor is required to provide classroom instruction before the school bus driver instructor workshop, the individual shall do the following to be certified as a school vehicle driver instructor:
  • Observe classroom instruction provided by a certified instructor designated by the Department; and
  • Teach a lesson under the guidance of that certified instructor.
  • Certification for Behind-the-Wheel Instruction.
  • Certification to provide behind-the-wheel instruction requires that the prospective school vehicle driver instructor provide behind-the-wheel instruction to a school vehicle driver trainee while being observed by and under the direct supervision of a certified school vehicle driver instructor.


$70,000 - $80,000 a year
The targeted base salary range for this role is listed in the compensation section below. Actual salary may be above or below this range based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. In addition, this position may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity, or commissions. The targeted pay range for this role is: $70-80K.
