Wage Range: $20.00 - 22.00 + tips DOE
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our Banquet Set-Up Crew. The ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Banquet Set-Up Crew Members will be responsible for setting up banquet rooms according to event specifications, ensuring that all furniture, equipment, and decorations are in place for a successful event.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Set up banquet rooms according to event orders and diagrams, including tables, chairs, linens, and decorations.
Assist with the set-up of audiovisual equipment, lighting, and sound systems as needed.
Arrange furniture and equipment in a neat and organized manner, ensuring all items are properly aligned and secure.
Work closely with the banquet team to ensure timely completion of set-up tasks.
Respond to requests from event organizers and staff to make adjustments or additions to the set-up.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas and equipment.
Assist with breakdown and cleanup of banquet rooms after events, including removing furniture, equipment, and decorations.
Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Banquet Manager, Banquet Captain or Event Coordinator.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
Must hold a valid M.A.S.T. Class 12 or 13 Permit (Washington state serving license)
Must hold a valid Washington Food Worker Card (Health & Food Safety)
Minimum 2 years professional experience in Food and Beverage, preferably catering
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
This position is required to work evenings, weekends and holidays while in operation.
Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
Able to manipulate a full-size keg of beer (~160 pounds)
Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other common office equipment on a constant basis.
Auditory and visual acuity to operate computers, phones, mobile devices and basic office equipment on a constant basis.
Ability to work for extended periods of time bending, reaching, and speaking on a constant basis.
Ability to work for extended periods of time standing, walking, kneeling, pushing and pulling on an occasional basis.
Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees.
