Social Worker / Business Development Manager  
Assisting Hands is looking to expand their senior care reach and looking to hire a Social Worker / Community Educator for the Lee County, FL area.

We are seeking someone who enjoys building relationships with referrers and families from within their community. You might be working in the health care sector as a social worker, nurse or other person who works with seniors and looking to expand your horizons. We have a fantastic toolbox of resources that makes educating the community fun and easy. 

We are looking for someone local to Lee County, who has established connections in the senior care industry!
 
Qualifications:
· Experience in the senior care industry
· Social Workers, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, LPN, RN strongly encouraged to apply!
· Exceptional presentation skills and highly organized
· Experience with PowerPoint
· Experience with the elderly preferred
· Passion for the elderly a must

Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
· Identify all local influence centers (hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living with rehabilitation or respite care, doctor's offices and other health providers) to determine lead sources.
· Build and maintain database of potential referrers.
· Conduct training sessions to professionals and families that focus on dementia care and Parkinson’s disease care.
· Personally visit and arrange meetings with persons responsible for or in a position to refer clients; this includes private, public, and non-profit organizations.
· Arrange presentations of Assisting Hands services at staff meetings in hospitals, nursing homes, doctor’s offices, and private companies as well as brokerage companies looking for labor hire partners.
· Attend trade shows, conferences and networking events representing Assisting Hands services. Network with others in the industry to develop additional lead sources.
· Meet with new clients
· Maintain and manage a (CRM) Customer Relationship Management System to track leads and follow-up on leads.
· Achieve weekly visit frequency with key targets and deliver messaging as per our marketing program.
· Use tracking sheets to record activity and submit to manager weekly.
· Meet with manager weekly to discuss opportunities, referrals status, activity, etc.
