Description
As an accounting manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the external reporting, balance sheet accounting, and reporting systems for the accounting team. You will work closely with the senior management, external auditors, and other stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements and disclosures. You will also provide mentorship and guidance to junior members of the team. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Support management in PCAOB compliance initiative through analysis and implementation of key controls over financial reporting. • Prepare and record journal entries in the normal course of business operations as needed. • Provide critical audit liaison and company subject matter expertise during interim and year-end financial statement audits, as well as quality of earnings analyses. • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports in accordance with US GAAP • Coordinate and manage the external audit process, including responding to audit inquiries and requests • Monitor and maintain compliance with bank covenants and debt agreements • Own the balance sheet accounting, including reconciling accounts, analyzing variances, and ensuring proper controls and documentation • Administer and enhance the various financial reporting systems, including Jet, Dynamics and power BI, including creating and updating reports, dashboards, and queries • Supervise, mentor, and develop junior accountants, ensuring high performance and quality standards • Research, document, and implement accounting policies, standards, and best practices • Perform other job duties as assigned by management.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field. CPA Required. • At least 7 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a manufacturing environment. • Knowledge of GAAP, applicable laws, and regulations. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Maintains strong attention to detail and ability to create professional, clear workpapers. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to foster excellent working relationships with stakeholders across the organization to understand business, reporting, and data needs.

The pay range for this position is $160000.00 - $170000.00/yr.
