Position Overview

As a Film Creator, you will collaborate with the media team and internal/external stakeholders in creating new film content. Your role will be end-to-end from conception to pre-production, production, and post-production including finding/managing crew and the storyline. This role will not do animation, motion graphics, or sound composition.

What You'll Be Working On

Duties include but not limited to:

●      Pre-Production: Write, storyboard, create shot lists, suggest locations, and other pre-production tasks.

●      Production: cinematography, camera operation, and other related tasks.

●      On-set director when needed.

●      Advise and provide insights on the use of best cinematography equipment and practices. 

●      Offline, first draft, and concept editing. 

●      Track budget & costs.

●      Help in finding “Fixers” and local assistants.

●      Other production related duties as assigned. 

Physical and Travel Requirements

●      This role requires up to 50% travel requirements. Length of travel will depend upon study requirements, staff needs, and company initiatives.

What You Bring

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

●      At least ten years of experience in creating films, preferably internationally.

●      Proficiency in video editing software.

●      Strong ability and knowledge of operating professional cameras.

●      Excellent ability to think on your feet and adapt to last-minute changes.

●      Ability to work well in a team and independently.

Certifications/Licenses, Education, and Experience:

●      Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.

●      Must have experience in creating TV series.

●      Preference given to candidates with credible international awards.

●      Prefer additional experience in creating TV commercials and PSAs.
