The ideal candidate will be a passionate self-starter with exceptional working knowledge of social media best practices and trend watching to produce content on behalf of USC that resonates with our varied online audiences. We’re looking for someone who thrives during each stage of the creative process (from brainstorming to publishing) with a propensity toward creating short form video content, capturing engaging photos and producing gifs, graphics and the occasional written content. The perfect candidate will be an out-of-the-box but within-the-brand thinker with a portfolio of sharp work already under their belt.This position will collaborate closely with many stakeholders in marketing and communications including, but not limited to, staff videographers and photographers, designers, writers and a team of talented interns to ensure that the content we publish is optimized for each platform we use. The ideal candidate will also be a deadline-driven, energetic multitasker who thrives when juggling several different to-do list items.
