Outreach Specialist/Life Skills Educator - job 1 of 2

The Center for Employment Opportunities (CEO) is seeking an Outreach Specialist/Life Skills Educator who is dedicated to social justice and will serve as a liaison with local parole and probation offices, supporting individuals recently released from incarceration.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outreach & engagement activities by visiting Probation, Parole and other Community Based Organizations (CBOs)
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Parole Officers, CBOs and key stakeholders
  • Present CEO's programs to participants and community partners
  • Guide and coach participants in employment preparatory activities
  • Input and document participants' information in case management system

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Education, or related field
  • Experience working with justice-involved individuals
