This position is located in our Dallas, TX offices with work performed at client site in Westlake, TX; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.Develop and maintain highly scalable and performant web applications using Java 11/17, AWS, Spring, JMS and Kafka.
Comfortable in handling Backend Development, Authentication frameworks, CI/CD and Units Tests.
Adept in picking up Front End development work as needed.
Design and implementation of software solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements and that are aligned to the programs strategic direction
Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins to automate testing and deployment of applications on AWS.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (product owners, architects, tech leads, fellow engineers, data modelers, and stakeholders) to deliver high-quality software.
Fully engage in product quality plan efforts, including test case development, design reviews, code reviews and test automating.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge on web development frameworks, and best practices.
6-9 years of software development experience
Strong experience with Java 11/17 and its core concepts (Streams, Lambda, Exception Handling, Multithreading, DataSource).
Handson experience with Spring Boot, Microservices, ORM (Hibernate, Mybatis), REST API, Webservices, JMS and Kafka.
Experience working with SQL/PLSQL.
Exposure working with Authentication frameworks.
Experience with unit test frameworks like Mockito, Junit.
AWS Certified Developer/Associate is preferred.
Experience with CI/CD and AWS Cloud Infrastructure / Services.
Exposure with Angular UI development is a bonus.
Exposure to Karate/Cypress Test Automation is a plus.
Passionate about engineering excellence and a knack for writing clean, testable, readable, and easily maintainable code.
Understand how to operate in an Agile environment and to deliver using an acceptance test driven development (ATDD) approach
Committed to collaboration and open communication in your work
Experience in Blockchain technologies is a plus
