RequirementsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent. Graduation from accredited radiologic technology program.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: ARRT or Board eligible, New Mexico State licensure required. BLS certification required. For recent graduates, BLS certification required within six months of hire. ACLS obtained within the first year.
SKILLS:
EXPERIENCE: A graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program. One year radiologic experience preferred.

Works in a clean, well-lighted, ventilated smoke-free environment. Subject to stressful professional relationships. Working hours are varied, with flexibility due to unexpected changes in schedule and emergencies.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Lifts, positions, pushes and/or transfers patients and equipment in excess of 50 lbs.

Your day-to-day will involve providing exceptional care to patients while working closely with physicians to obtain high-quality images for interpretation by expert Radiologists and Cardiologists. To excel in this role, a high school diploma or equivalent is a must, along with graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program. You'll need to be ARRT or Board eligible, hold a New Mexico State license, and possess BLS certification. If you're a recent grad, don’t worry—just complete your BLS within the first six months! Strong knowledge of cardiovascular and neurologic anatomy, radiographic equipment, and positioning is essential, as is the ability to clearly communicate in English. While prior experience in radiology is preferred, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are just as critical. You'll be responsible to the Manager of the Cath Lab, and your environment will be professionally demanding yet rewarding, where you may encounter bloodborne pathogens, ionizing radiation, and the need for flexibility in your schedule due to emergencies.
