Marketing Lead

Clay is a global design agency building world-class digital products and brands. Our clients include Slack, Google, Snapchat, Amazon, Coinbase, and many innovative startups. Our diverse team is located in different parts of the world, but the main locations are Europe and the USA.

We’re looking for a Marketing Lead to join our international digital design agency and take our marketing to the next level. You'll work closely with our established Clay marketing team, bringing a fresh, creative perspective to established processes and helping identify new opportunities for improvement and growth.

Your key mission will be to develop and refine marketing strategies and content plans, collaborate with our marketing team, prioritize and review content, and ensure high-quality execution. Additionally, you will support and drive the marketing efforts for a new business direction.

If you're a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in content-driven marketing and a passion for design and storytelling – this role is for you.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work closely with the existing Clay marketing team to support and evolve our current marketing efforts;
  • Participate in developing and reviewing marketing strategy, content plans, and campaigns;
  • Collaborate on shaping content direction and managing execution – from prioritizing topics and formats to setting goals for the team, reviewing content, and ensuring high quality across all outputs;
  • Take part in the marketing of a new business direction: shape the social media strategy, plan promo campaigns, and set up a blog from scratch;
  • Plan and review content distribution across relevant channels and platforms (LinkedIn, Behance, Instagram, etc.);
  • Collaborate with the SEO specialist to align content efforts with growth goals;
  • Track campaign performance and content impact through clear reporting and analytics;
  • Drive PR and external communications: media placements, interviews, awards, and events;
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Design, HR, Sales) to keep messaging aligned.

You’re a Great Fit If You Have:

  • Proven experience as a Marketing Lead or Senior Content Marketer;
  • Solid background in B2B marketing, ideally in the digital, tech, or creative industries;
  • Strong background working with AI platforms is essential to effectively support our marketing initiatives;
  • Strong skills in content strategy, copywriting, and team coordination;
  • Advanced English proficiency (C1 or higher);
  • Understanding of SEO fundamentals and content distribution channels;
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities;
  • A proactive, self-driven mindset and ability to work independently.
