About the Role:

This role is part of our Product Design Operations group and will collaborate closely with other managers to drive cross-functional initiatives to evolve our design processes.

As a Design Manager, you'll be responsible for the success and well-being of your team. Foster an open, collaborative environment that allows designers to thrive. A passion for developing talent and growing teams is key for this role.

Your focus will be on building scalable systems, nurturing team growth, and championing user-centric design in our SaaS environment. By joining our team, you'll contribute to the growth and development of our design practice, shaping the way we work and creating a lasting impact on our products and company.

About CrowdStrike Design:

CrowdStrike believes the product designer is an equal partner with product management and engineering leads. This means designers own the user experience solution for any project. We look for full stack designers and managers who can bring leadership from the conception phase through the final rollout. What You'll Do:

  • Mentor team members, providing constructive feedback and career guidance.

  • Develop and implement design ops programs to streamline workflows and boost efficiency.

  • Partner with design leads, the Talent Acquisition and HR teams to expand hiring & onboarding programs.

  • Collaborate across departments to align design vision with business goals.

  • Cultivate a collaborative design environment that fosters innovation and growth.

  • Establish metrics and processes to measure and improve design impact.

  • Champion user-centric design principles across the organization.

What You'll Need:

  • Proven experience in design management and growing teams.

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills - written and verbal.

  • Strong leadership skills working with designers, PM/Eng partners, and other managers.

  • Hands on B2B SaaS product design expertise and experience with design systems.

  • Flexible context-switcher tracking and managing people and resourcing for multiple projects.

  • Outstanding collaboration skills in a fast-paced, highly distributed environment. (We are 100% remote, across North America and Europe)

  • Strong understanding of various design disciplines and roles.

  • Ability to assess design skills and fit effectively.

  • Experience in conducting portfolio reviews and design exercises.

  • Figma, of course.

  • At least 3 years of people management experience.

  • Experience in enterprise SaaS products.

  • Knowledge of the cybersecurity industry.

The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $135,000 - $215,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits.
