This is your opportunity to shape the narratives of some of the world’s leading healthcare brands by leveraging your media expertise, news instincts, and passion for storytelling. As part of our award-winning Editorial and Media Strategies team, you’ll work alongside former journalists and media specialists who bring newsroom thinking into every pitch, plan, and campaign.
What You’ll Do
· Serve as a day-to-day media lead across multiple healthcare accounts—developing, driving, and executing earned media strategies that span national, consumer health, trade, regional, and local media outlets
· Craft and deliver strategic media outreach plans that align with client business goals and integrated campaign objectives
· Proactively pitch to key journalists and secure meaningful media placements across print, broadcast, online, and emerging platforms
· Lead the development of core media materials including pitch letters, media lists, briefing documents, and coverage recaps
· Manage media events, interviews, and desk-side briefings from start to finish
· Supervise and mentor junior staff—providing thoughtful feedback, coaching, and accountability
· Build strong client relationships by providing sound counsel and clear communication
· Stay on top of media trends, public health conversations, and breaking news to identify proactive media opportunities
· Contribute to new business development by supporting media strategy development and presenting to prospective clients
· Collaborate across Edelman’s integrated teams (paid, creative, digital, strategy) to ensure a cohesive media approach

An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs.
