Swim Instructor

East Bank Club is seeking experienced and enthusiastic Swim Instructors to join our team. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for instructing swimming lessons to individuals of all ages and skill levels. You will be tasked with ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants while teaching proper swim techniques and water safety.

Rate of Pay:

Adult privates &semi-privates -- 50%

Private

  • 30 minutes $20
  • 45 minutes $30
  • 60 minutes $40

 Semi private

  • 30 minutes $23
  • 45 minutes $34.50
  • 60 minutes $46

Youth Privates & Semi-Privates -- 40%

Privates

  • 30 minutes $16 
  • 60 minutes $32

Semi-privates

  • 30 minutes $18.40
  • 60 minutes $36.80

Adult groups/clinics 

  • 45 minutes $30.00
  • 60 minutes $40.00

Youth groups 

  • 30 minutes $15.00
  • 45 minutes $22.50 
  • 60 minutes $30.00

Advanced youth group 

  • 60 minutes $40.00 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement swim lesson plans
  • Provide individual and group instruction to participants of all ages and skill levels
  • Assess participant abilities and adjust instruction as needed
  • Ensure a safe and positive learning environment
  • Enforce safety rules and guidelines
  • Communicate effectively with participants and their parents/guardians
  • Maintain accurate records of participant progress
  • Attend required meetings and training sessions
  • Assist with swim team or special aquatic events, as needed
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA. We use E-Verify.
  • Previous swim instruction experience preferred
  • American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certification or equivalent preferred
  • First Aid and CPR certification required (can be obtained after hire)
