Direct Support Professional/PCA

Eminence Home Care is hiring experienced heroes- otherwise known as - Direct Support Professionals and PCAs to join our team part-time/per diem!

Are you a PCA or DSP that has a passion for caring for adults with disabilities? Do you have experience working with adults of all ages who have physical limitations and need 1:1 personal assistance to maintain their independence? Join the Eminence Home Care team and bring your superpowers with you!

We are looking for DSP/PCAs who have worked in a home setting performing household tasks, and personal hygiene support. Other requirements include:

  • A valid drivers license or reliable transportation for any shift
  • Ability to work throughout Greater Hartford County
  • Day or evening shift availability, with part time to full time opportunities
  • CNAs encouraged to apply!
  • Experience with DME such as wheelchairs, hoyer lifts, trapeze, transfer boards/gait belts
  • Personal care experience, for mobile and bedbound clients
  • 1-2 years experience working with disabled populations who may have physical limitations, cognitive impairments, paralysis, hearing impairments or use other communication methods if non verbal.

What you’ll be doing:

Our direct support professionals care for clients by providing household support such as cleaning, meal preparation, medication reminders, companionship, activity-based stimulation, and support with personal hygiene and ADL needs.
