Job Description

 

  • Document and maintain detailed records using an Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN).
  • Perform techniques such as protein conjugation, purification, and characterization.
  • Operate laboratory equipment and instruments in adherence to laboratory SOPs and safety training 
  • Assess the biophysical and biochemical properties of assay reagents while ensuring compliant documentation of reagent preparations.
  • Support accurate and compliant record keeping and experimental data integrity 

Qualifications

  • B.S./B.A. in a scientific concentration with 2-4 years of experience or a M.S. with 1-3 years of experience, or the equivalent training/experience.
  • Basic knowledge of protein and its properties
  • Aseptic technique
  • Protein purification (Gravity chromatography, Size Exclusion Chromatography (SEC), Protein A chromatography, Desalting chromatography)
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

  • SEC-HPLC
  • LC-MS
  • FPLC (AKTA)
  • SDS-PAGE
  • Nanodrop 
  • BCA assay

Additional Information

Position is full-time, 1st shift, Monday – Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.  Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Spring House, PA are encouraged to apply.
