• Identify applicability for duty-free entry using trade preference programs or other duty free provisions in the US regulations
• Working knowledge of Customs & Duties, HTS, Free Trade Agreements (NAFTA, GSP etc.) Determine the
• HTS Classification for the U.S. and other WCO Countries
• Establish clear and concise communications both internally and externally
• Manage multiple ongoing projects and project deadlines
• Daily tracking of project time
• Contribute to departmental improvements
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
• Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Demonstrated customer service skills and proven interpersonal skills
• Prior work experience in an international trade environment
• Required knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including but not limited to: Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, CRM
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Superior analytical skills with a strong ability to logically document and explain processes
• Investigative and problem solving skills
