The job as an Expleo Manufacturing Engineer
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining manufacturing processes for the production of high-quality products. They will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product design, quality, and production, to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
- Define the production process flow from incoming to outgoing for both internal and external operations if necessary,
- Define with the methods, with the quality department and with the production department each step of production, the necessary industrial equipment’s, tools and tooling,
- Define the layout for equipment’s,
- Lead the equipment’s installation until the full quality / cost / delay level is met and ensure a hand over to the production department.
- Ensure that the best practices of Lean Manufacturing are applied,
- Support the production for trouble shooting, quality issues solving and efficiency improvements,
- Stay in a continuous improvement mind-set, define and drives improvement plans,
- Is involved in the application of engineering changes
What are our key selection criteria for joining Expleo continuous improvement Team?
- Master's degree in mechanical / electro-mechanical / electronics / manufacturing engineering
- A first background in industry (manufacturing / assembling) is a plus
- Mecatronic / PLC knowledge
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A background in Lean Manufacturing and Industry 4.0 principles is a strong asset
- Fluency in English and knowledge of a local language (FR OR NL) is a must
