Responsibilities

  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of 4-5 accountants, ensuring high-quality output and professional growth.

  • Client Engagement: Interact with clients to review financial statements, discuss key metrics, and answer questions.
  • Operational Excellence: Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline onboarding and internal processes.
  • Accounting and Tax Preparation: Oversee bookkeeping and prepare tax returns for small business clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years in accounting, with demonstrated experience in bookkeeping and tax preparation.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online. Familiarity with or interest in tools like Docket, Talipor, Trueprep.ai, and Numero.io is a plus.
