We are looking for a highly motivated and detail oriented P&C Actuary Intern to join our actuarial team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the filed of property and casualty insurance. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, excellent problem solving skills, and a keen interest in actuarial science. This is a summer internship that will begin in June 2025 and end in August 2025.What You’ll Do• Assist in the analysis of insurance data to identify trends and patterns.• Support the development and maintenance of actuarial models for pricing, reserving, and risk management.• Participate in the preparation of actuarial reports and presentations.• Collaborate with underwriters, claims analysts, and other departments to gather and analyze data.• Conduct research on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting P&C insurance.• Contribute to special projects and initiatives within the actuarial department.What You’ll Need• Currently pursuing a degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.• Must hold a Junior standing or higher (May 2025 grads are welcome)• Must possess a minimum 3.0 GPA• Must be able to commit to working 37.5 hours per week Monday-Friday• Must be able to work onsite in the posted location for the role.Given the diverse range of ongoing projects, interns will have ample opportunities to engage in meaningful work throughout the summer. These projects will not only provide valuable learning experiences about the insurance industry but also potentially spark interest in pursuing a career within our field.The pay rate provided below will be commensurate with candidate experience. Pay ranges for candidates may differ based on the cost of labor in different locations. The salary range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00 per hour.
