In this role, you'll put your creative thinking and skills to work to create exciting and emotion-driven advertising and content marketing alongside a creative and dynamic team. You'll conceptualize, produce, write, edit, and share creative across many channels: TV, social media, cable, radio, and more.This person will be responsible for the development of cutting-edge commercial and promotional spots for the vibrant and quickly growing Nashville, TN market from concept to completion. Creative script writing, shooting, and non-linear editing experience is a must. The ideal candidate for this position must be self-motivated, have passion, a solid work ethic, and a positive attitude to work both independently, and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team. The candidate will have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. This person will be expected to be a team player and take part in all aspects of commercial and station marketing production as well as production support for the Today In Nashville lifestyle show. Must work closely with sales to conceptualize, write, shoot, and edit commercials, load spots convert files for sales, and work with the marketing team to assist in the production of station promos.Please note - primary job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the information listed aboveQualifications/Requirements:• The ideal candidate will have experience with Adobe Creative Suite and will have very strong camera and editing skills and knowledge of DSLR and Black Magic equipment• The ability to interact professionally and effectively with all internal WSMV employees and external organizations is a must• Must have an advanced background in Adobe Premiere. After Effects experience a plus• Some weekends may be required• Bi-lingual ability a plus• Must be able to accommodate a flexible of days and hours depending on need.
