Working closely with the team, the Corporate Communications Intern T will support advertising, paid and organic social media and public relations initiatives. Responsibilities include content and storyline development, media and social media monitoring, background research on business-specific topics and support team members as needed. The person in this position must be proactive, detail-oriented and to be able to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously. An ideal candidate should be social media savvy and willing to share ideas for content.
What You’ll Work On
• Understand the overall mission of the company.
• Support business-focus projects to research, propose idea and solutions
• Assist with content creation as part of PR, advertising, and social media campaigns.
• Provide support to team members, as needed, including data entry, data assessment and presentation of information
• Adhere to the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) as well as domestic and global quality system regulations, standards, and procedures.
• Understand relevant security, privacy and compliance principles and adhere to the regulations, standards, and procedures that are applicable to the Company.
• Ensure other members of the department follow the QMS, regulations, standards, and procedures.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned
What You Contribute
• High School Diploma with 1+ years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to be proactive and independent thinker; willing to collaborate with a multi-disciplined team to achieve corporate communication goals.
• Strong oral, written and interpersonal communications skills required
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and other standard office tools
Working Conditions
General office environment. Willingness and ability to work on-site. Potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens. Requires some lifting and moving of up to 25 pounds. Must be able to move between buildings and floors. Must be able to remain stationary and use a computer or other standard office equipment, such as a printer or copy machine, for an extensive period of time each day. Must be able to read, prepare emails, and produce documents and spreadsheets. Must be able to move within the office and access file cabinets or supplies, as needed Must be able to communicate and exchange accurate information with employees at all levels on a daily basis.
Base Pay Range Per Hour: $19.38 - $28.50
Individual compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
