Assistant Controller

As an Assistant Controller, you will oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, manage vendor payments, client invoicing, and ensure detailed account reconciliation. You will also prepare financial reports, assist in budgeting and forecasting, and lead process improvement initiatives. This role is crucial in maintaining accurate financial records and supports the strategic planning efforts of our company.

The Assistant Controller position requires at least five years of progressive experience in accounting, including supervisory roles. Candidates should have advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, expert-level Excel skills, and strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards. Leadership and communication skills are also essential for managing staff and collaborating across multiple teams.

In the Assistant Controller role, you will prepare and analyze our monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Through variance analysis and providing insights to management, you will help drive informed decision-making. Your expertise will also support the overall cash flow management and budgeting processes.
